Leader: Be mindful of your mercy, O Lord, and of
your steadfast love, for they have been from of old. Heavenly Father, we trust in Your mercy and
steadfast love. You manifested Your deep love for us in Jesus
Christ, Your Son. He came and lived in our midst. He died a
sacrificial death in our behalf. He rose from the dead and ascended
into heaven, where He prays for us today. You have forgiven and
forgotten our sins. You teach us what is right; and by Your Spirit,
You guide us and empower us to do Your will. Help us to humbly
submit our lives to You, trusting that You always lead us in the
ways of justice and mercy. Hear us as we pray with hearts of love
the prayer our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, taught us to pray:
